Biography

I am a 2nd year medical student at Carver College of Medicine who joined the Messingham lab in summer 2022 with an interest in dermatology and immunology. Prior to joining the Messingham lab, I studied the role of macrophages in the development of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. I am from Southern California and enjoy bringing baked goods for the lab, playing volleyball, and drinking various types of tea.

Research areas
  • Dermatology, Immunology. I am currently exploring how Staphylococcus Aureus colonization may play a role in the development of bullous pemphigoid pathogenesis through the disruption of immune homeostasis.
